This assignment was my first of my cinema internship. I decided to just use a title as the only text in the trailer. I chose The Parent Trap to do my trailer on because it gave me really good ideas on how I could turn it into a horror movie. I put in some spooky music in to add to the effect. With the scissors, I grabbed some sound effects and also got some thunder sound effects for suspense. This assignment was harder than I thought. I really had to think ahead of time about what scenes were going to give me the best "horror" feel. I also had to decide whether I wanted to use audio from the movie or text in-between, which I decided not to. If I were to do it again, I would spend more time on the cuts and the scenes/effects I used. Overall, fun assignment with good cinema skills involved.
